Watching Daddy Shave

The other day, as we were all getting ready to go our different directions, I was doing the girls' hair in the bathroom and James came in to shave.  Anne didn't pay any attention to what he was doing, she just kept brushing her hair.  Ellen was fascinated, though.  Her eyes didn't leave him.  She watched him spread shaving cream all over his face.  Then as he started contorting his face to try and reach all those hard to reach spots, Ellen's face mimicked James' face.  It was so funny!  When his eyebrows went up, Ellen's eyebrows went up.  When he tipped his head to one side, Ellen's head tipped a little to one side.  When he puffed out his cheeks, Ellen puffed out her cheeks.  She was so entranced and didn't pay any attention to what I was doing with her hair.  It was SO fun to watch!
