Fall Collecting

These are a few things Ellen, Naomi and I collected the other day. It is still so new and fun to me to collect acorns. I had never seen a real acorn before we moved here.

How fun!! I wish I was there to collect fun fall things too. Think of all the decorating and craft possibilities . . .

Oh that brings back such great memories of my days in Moscowland! I took my rommates on a trek through the arboretum at U of I to collect autumn leaves and things. We went home and laminated them between contact paper and put them up in our large front windows. So pretty and fun for us to do together. **I also think of and miss the smell of the rain on the acorns and oak leaves. Nobody does that smell as well as Moscow.

How fun! All we have to collect here is leaves. I guess we could chase them down the street when the wind starts blowing (oh wait it very rarely stops!). We miss you guys too! KatieJo thought it was great to see pictures of your kids on your blog.

Amy--I just found your blog--via Cox's. It's so great. I loved the chocolate on my cranium website. I just started getting into the blogging. It's pretty fun and I find I actually do it--as opposed to a regular journal. jandjbollinger.blogspot.com --Julie B.
