Look! We got a new table. Well ... James bought it and the 7 chairs last summer at a yard sale for 65$. The chairs were in good shape so we've been using them, but the table really needed to be refinished. And James did it! We've been using it for about 2 days now. It looks like a brand new table. It is just slightly bigger than our old table, but it's legs are in the middle not on the corners so it is much easier to sit around. It is so pretty!Friday, January 30, 2009
"New" Table
Look! We got a new table. Well ... James bought it and the 7 chairs last summer at a yard sale for 65$. That really is a pretty table. I love it. We have a "new" table too. We have not used it yet. Kevin's grandparents gave it to us. It is in great shape. I can't wait to move to Washington so we can use it.

Now THAT's a great table, you guys! I think it's so cool you snagged it at a garage sale, too. Your mom really got me into the yard sale thing, i have to say! I even have an awesome psychedelic pig looking down on me from my mantle that I believe she got me at a yard sale or some cute little shop. Yard sales RULE. So many of my favorite things in our Home are yard sale "goods". :) Viva, Prima!
Refinishing wood is a fun thing to do. I've done a good job on some things and an impatient, not-so-good job on others. Your table looks perfect from here. Way to go!
